The Short Film "Microcinema" -----

Sep 20 2011 04:30 AM | sov  in Reviews

I recently had the opportunity to view a short film called "Microcinema". Written and directed by Skip Shea and starring Alex Lewis and Aurora Grabill, Microcinema was originally going to be part of a new web series called "Long Reach". However the production crew felt that Microcinema was powerful enough to stand on it's own as a brutal short Horror film.

Microcinema opens with a captivating self filmed narrative from a serial killer in the making. This newly realized psychopath spews different philosophical views to explain his new hobby. What's his new hobby? Why it's filming himself killing people and broadcasting the kills from an off shore server online! Interesting right? The opening narrative really sucked me into the film and had me excited to see this wack job take some people out!

I hadn't read the synopsis for Microcinema before diving right into which set me up for a shock. I really cannot tell you anymore about this short film without ruining it for you, so I won't! I will say you will not be expecting to see the events that unfold in this shocking short film.

So there you have it head on over to the Watch Microcinema website and pony up the $1 to check it out! You will also be able to check out a trailer for the upcoming Web Series Long Reach.
